Small Pansy Doily (LTWIP)
Apr. 27th, 2021 03:13 pmLong term work in progress. Goal: finish early 2021, after holiday crafting complete. I am getting my project notes off of Ravelry notebook.

Pattern: Pansy Doily Luncheon Set D-205 by the Spool Cotton Company
For: Morgan - our great-grandma loved making doilies, and she made a pattern like this multiple times.
Started: 12 July 2019
Finished: 26 April 2021
Hook: 1.5mm
Yarn: DMC Pearl Cotton 8
07-13-2019
07-28-2019
-3 petals 15dc
-final 2 petals - (dc, ch 1) 5times, (tc, ch1) 5 times, dc, ch1) 5times

30 March 2021 - picking up again, have decided to use only 2 colors for the flowers (6 each).
20 April 2021 - finished the flowers over the last couple days. If I was to make this style of pansy again, I think I would leave out the stiches between the petals in the second round. I don't think it adds much. Kitchen scale claims all the flowers together are 8g.

24 April 2021 - did the attachment round, then the single row of edging.
26 April 2021 - blocking day! I will take photos in the morning then call this one done.
