Pattern: Tumbling Blocks Get Square version 2 on LoveCrafts
Designer: The Crochet Fix - her pattern writing style is great. Rounds/rows are broken up into steps, I never lose my place & always know where I'm supposed to be.
Started: 27 April 2021
Completed: 31 May 2021
For: Eleanor (Calley baby #2) - trying to get this done quickly. I'd been planning towards this baby to arrive in June, but turns out what mom told me wasn't correct and she didn't update me. :D Baby arrived April 26. At least I had the yarn.
Hook: G / 4.25mm
Yarn/Thread: Lion Brand Mandala, colorway Valkyrie
Yarn labeled as 3/DK but I'd call it a 2/baby yarn. So it's perfect for what I'm doing. Yarn was even softer after washing and drying.

Notes:
27 April - did a few rows to get started. You can see the colors in the cake well in this photo.

28 April - to 10" across
29 April - to 13" across. I didn't notice the small amount of green in the roll.

30 April - to 19 inches (first row of pink)
1 May - worked a bit, didn't measure
2 May - end of first skein, can see all the colors now. 20 inches.

16 May - end of second skein, at 31 inches. Working very slow now, had a couple rough weeks. Glad I was attaching another because I was about 3 blocks from the row end.

25 May - end of third skein, 37 inches. Normally this is more than big enough, but I have a 4th skein and the color appears to have been discontinued.

31 May - finished, 41 inches. I had enough yarn for a slip stitch (or something) border but nothing I tried looked right, left it off.
