Winter Seed Starting
Feb. 16th, 2023 02:22 pm I have set up 5 milk jug greenhouses on the south side of the house, to winter start seeds, as detailed here: Penn State Extension.
Tried with: magnolia tendril peas, parsley, purple coneflower, calendula, sunflower.
The last two I'm more uncertain about but the first ones should be fine.
Parents are thinking of just planting some in the ground and plopping a milk jug with the bottom cut out over the top. I may do that with another round of seeds closer to the end of frost.
