Hook: H/5mm
Yarn/Thread: Lion Brand Vanna's Choice

• Mustard - not quite 1 skein - used doubled to make the X details instead of buying a separate bulky yellow.
• Kelly Green - 2 skeins

Size: adult large (as per pattern)


Notes:

• chained with an I hook
• I don't see any reason you couldn't do this in SC if you don't like waistcoat.
• I shorted the final repeats towards the end (6 plain rows instead of 7) because I was going to lose yarn chicken.
• the hat was a little stiffer than I anticipated, but that meant it was formable in whichever way you arranged it.
