Crochet Striped Basket

Yarn/Thread: Herrschners Worsted 8 (8oz/226g 489yd/448m per skein)

• Solid: dark grey
• Stripes: snowbird 

Size: 12" diameter base, about 12" tall

Notes: 

• the bottom 12" diameter. As I've begun working, that's a really large basket.
• made with 3 strands of yarn held together. Minor problem was a single skein was wound backwards compared to the others, using from the outside (took me far too long to figure this out).
• worked the sides until about 10" tall, then did the handle round (12 stitches skipped), then 3 more rounds. 
• this yarn came through the wash well, is a good smooth sturdy yarn.

The colours are so pretty!

I really liked that yarn. All of the striped ones were really colorful.
